Sandeep’s five wicket takes Nepal closer to Worldcup Qualifier

By beating Kenya in ongoing  ICC World Cricket League Division Two at Windhoek, Feb 12, 2018, Nepal moved closer to the Worldcup Qualifier happening in Zimbabwe with a nailbiting last ball win over Kenya.

Nepal 178 for 7 (Rohit 47, Aarif 42, Khadka 42, Ringera 3-19) beat Kenya 177 for 8 (Karim 42, Obanda 41, Lamichchane 5-20) by three wickets

The legspinner Sandeep Lamichane played another brilliant inning with the ball by taking the highest wicket (5-20) by giving only twenty runs during his spell. He is also one of the leading wicket-taker in the ongoing tournament. Nepal’s bowling has always been at its best level but still with the bat Nepal has to improve a lot. Most of the key Batsman are returning to the Pavilion at the very early stage of the match. Nepal needs to improve its fielding as well, Irfan Karim was dropped in the first ball of the match who was the highest run scorer from Kenya.
